When you’re choosing a balm for your baby, every ingredient should be easy to find. Grass-fed tallow and organic mango butter give this tin its cushiony feel; organic jojoba carries calendula and chamomile. The full formula is here, in the order printed on the label.
The base Grass-fed beef tallow Grass-fed tallow is the rich, moisturizing base of the balm.
It’s first on the label, and mango butter adds a softer, cushiony feel.

The texture softens as you warm a little between clean hands.
The infusion Jojoba and two flowers We infuse calendula and chamomile flowers into jojoba oil.
Jojoba oil comes from the seeds of the jojoba plant, and on the label the two flowers follow the oil they’re infused in.
The structure Yellow beeswax Yellow beeswax is beeswax that hasn’t been bleached.
It gives the balm its shape in the tin and helps it stay where you smooth it on.
The silk Olive-derived squalane Squalane is a light, silky oil, and ours is derived from olives.
It adds a silky feel to the balm.
The oats Colloidal oatmeal Colloidal oatmeal is oats milled into a very fine powder.
It’s part of the balm’s soft, substantial feel.
The finish Arrowroot and vitamin E Arrowroot powder is a fine starch from the root of the arrowroot plant.
It helps the balm feel smooth as you apply it. Vitamin E oil, last on the label, adds a final conditioning touch.
